Wish Upon a Wedding is dedicated to granting weddings and/or civil union ceremonies at destinations across the United States to couples who are facing terminal illness.  We'd like to thank Kyle and Will for bidding on our services and helping a couple get the wedding of their dreams.

Inspiration Board: Fly Butterfly Fly

For free-spirited and nature-loving couples, a butterfly theme is dreamy and romantic. You can even have your wedding at the Butterfly House in Topanga, California. It's a beautiful garden estate with plenty of butterflies, of course. Top it off with a butterfly release at the end of the ceremony for a magical moment!

Enchanting Fairies

This wedding struck me as so magical and enchanting I actually dreamt about it last night. Photographer Elizabeth Messina showcased this fairy tale wedding on her blog Kiss the Groom.

I had the pleasure of working with florist Tricia Fountaine last year, and am sure she was in heaven creating this enchanting wedding!  

Real Weddings: Amber & Greg part ll

The beautiful bouquet of bloomed cream, blush, and peach roses was wrapped in cream silk with rows of pearls.




Guest were treated to a three tier organic cake made of hazelnut and fresh raspberry. The cake was lavishly decorated with orchids, and shades of pink and cream roses.

Real Weddings: Amber & Greg

This beautiful couple from San Francisco created a simply elegant outdoor wedding among the oak and pine trees at an all organic restaurant in Topanga, CA.


The groom is also a photographer who shot all the photos that served as the table numbers.

Succulents make the perfect eco-friendly option for flowers. They don't take much water and can be replanted after your wedding, so nothing is wasted. And there's something so romantic in the idea that you can walk into your garden and be reminded of your special day.

Succulents come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors.  They are a perfect choice in summer heat, but are great in the fall and winter too, when many flowers are out of season.

Today's photos are from the featured wedding of Marisa & Stephen in the Spring issue of InStyle Wedding Magazine.  Simply Natural Events planned their gorgeous wedding in just five weeks.  A palette of white, ivory, with accents of green and copper added to the beautiful private estate in Pasadena, California.  The stunning Marisa beamed at her prince charming, Stephen, in a fairy tale wedding.
